Mahindra Satyam gets nearly 30 contracts
After being taken over by Tech Mahindra in April, Mahindra Satyam or formerly known as Satyam Computer Services has announced that it has bagged nearly30 IT contracts mostly in the $1 million-$20 million range from both new and existing customers. The new deals are mostly said to have come from Asia Pacific and Europe while they are in the areas of outsourcing related to enterprise applications, business intelligence and engineering services.
However, most of its customers had put a freeze on new deals with the IT firm after the Rs 7,600-crore fraud which involved forgery of Satyam”s accounts after which most of the large-scale companies walked out of their contracts. But, after Tech Mahindra took over, none of the customers are said to have left the company.
